He is experienced in application programming, and commissioning of Programable Logic controllers(PLCs), Human Machine Interfaces(HMIs) and SCADA systems. Blain is proficient with Citect SCADA and Historian, Rockwell/Allen-Bradley RSLogix5000, PLC-500, PLC-5 Advanced Programming and Basic and Advanced LabView.

Blain has more than 35 years experience installing, troubleshooting and repairing an extensive list of Industrial equipment including: Speed sensing and control RADARs, depth sensing and control SONARs, weight control and totaling batch and conveyor electronic scales, RF and IR remote control cranes, remote control Locomotives, nuclear and x-ray gages, sensors, and controls, tube, transistor, digital and analog radio and audio communication systems, TV cameras and monitors. Blain has extensive experience in mainframe and server computers: Westinghouse 2500,DEC-VAX/VMS, Apple/Mac, PCs. Software:(Dos, Win98/NT/XP/2008/2012) also Network switches, routers, Cat5 and Fiber Optic cabling and terminating.
